14 June 2007 -- The arrival of baby Jovann; my little dark angel.
After 20 hours of labour, one week of high fever, lose the ability to offer him the goodness of breastfeeding, Jovann is going to be one month old in two days time.
Why dark? Jovann is really tan. The old folks said, baby will be born dark if the mother drinks dark beverages while pregnant. Well, I can bring down this myth. For one, I don't drink coffee or eat chocolates while pregnant with him. I love the good old fresh milk.
Everybody loves babies. Funny thing, I have to fall in love with him. While in the hospital, I remembered that I did not really want him to be pushed to my bedside. Just leave him in the nursery to rest. It was only when he switched to formula feed and resting peacefully in my arms, I find myself slowly falling in love with baby Jovann. Now I can't go without a second without him. My mum smuggled me out of the house to watch a movie, i kept thinking of his expression while walking to the station.
Baby Jovann is an action-packed baby while awake, and noisy while sleeping. How can anybody not love this baby... heheheI'm sure there are more adventures for this boy. He is already trying to stand up while bathing! A strong baby that loves turn to his right, a stronger right hand and ehhmm... is placed towards his right.
